Over Sized Shirt Love and Stormy Blues

I've been searching for the right combo of over-sized shirts with leggings or jeans, and it seems I've stumbled across a lot of different styles on this stormy day. I've kind of been in a slump lately, my work is scarce right now and the homework keeps piling on since its the end of the semester, so to cheer myself up I listen to music, dance, look at fashion and watch episode after episode of Leverage which I just discovered on Netflix. Yep, its a low key kind of day. And I think I deserve it, since I just got a day off that I actually didn't have any immediate homework due. Wootage!

The last of it :)

Bronzy Glowy Fall Makeup

I love fall! And all of the possibilities it brings with it, screw spring who needs it when you have the golden look?

This is what I did for my interview today, I swept my eyelids with a dash of bronze while keeping it classic with black eyeliner reaching up and out towards my brow line. I used clinique double face powder and some sunkissed bronzer across the tops of my cheekbones. So that the minerals could catch the light and give me a glowy look. And I put my wavy /curly stands in a low pony tail and let my bangs keep there side swept appeal. Works for a low key, neutral but still a luminous look.

I guess it worked because I got the job! :D

Kind of looks like I'm naked here doesn't it? Maybe I am...

Gotcha! No nakie....haha you wish :P

Halloween!

This is my sugar skull girl face for Halloween! Finally got it up here and I'm kinda proud of it, even though I fee like I botched it a bunch. I did have fake long lashes on, but they kept coming off and with much effort I might have gotten eyelash glue in my eyeball. So don't hate on my non-lashes, I cried for them....literally :P. The rest are pictures of my friends and I dancing at 6 am, after drinking about 75 jello shots and whatever else there was in the house. Needless to say we were having fun....hope you guys had an awesome Hallows Eve.

The Sugar Skull Girl

3:00 AM kattadellic 0 Comments

So I love sugar skulls, they have a haunting beauty about them that also screams fun at the same time. Of course there are TONS of different kinds of them and I want them ALL. So which one...there are different costumes with them too. I figure that I'm going to wear my black velvet lace up corset, and my purple skirt and attach some poofy black lace to the sides of the skirt. Then Ill find some roses and put them with the lace, add some ribbon and match my hair with the same accessories. Fake roses and ribbon. So here are some of the different sugar skull girl faces and outfits I've been obsessing about for the last week or two. And then its off to bed so I can renew my registration on my car (whoo) and make a entire day of shopping for Halloween stuff and then going over to my friends house to help with the Pre-Halloween part-teh-ness. Halloween cookies! Yeaaahhh. I'm excited, what can I say?

I'm probably going to steal different bits of different faces and put them together. I said that with my friends and boyfriend around and they all looked at me like I was crazy....I wonder why :P. I'm thinking of mixing teal and purple or purple and pink together for makeup combos.

We'll see how it goes! Also off to do my rough draft of my comparison essay, which has meaning for tomorrow. Don't you remember when you were a kid and you got a shit ton of free candy, presents and food for the holidays? And now its like its reversed....yeah the good old days. When you used to take the whole bowl of candy when someone left a note that said "just take one", lol. I was a not so nice teenager when it came to things of that sort. I think 17 was my last trick-or-treating days. But that's more of a resisting thing, not a bad person thing. Who can really resist the temptation of free chocolate...? Obviously not me.

Intro to kat.

I'm sitting in the small room of my town house/duplex and thinking about how I really need to get my homework done. But everything is so distracting, the fact that I just made this new blog, how Jasper needs to be walked and how my stomach is yelling at me for some much needed noms. But I still am however writing this little blurb of a blog to get started into something new and exciting.

Fashion. Is. Awesome.

I grew up a tomboy and I will always BE a tomboy. An as the years went on I would look at things and say, "I love that! But I would never wear that..." and then came the days where I started to actually be a girl. I think I shied away from fashion for a while because I had curves early on, and I didn't like my body because of that. Talking like junior high and such, the boys all wanted stick figures. But as I matured I realized that my curves were pretty hot. Then I got to my 20's and I said "hell yeah, lets get this party started!"

I wish I had realized sooner that my curves had power in them, and that they are fantasically sexy. From 23 till 25 I really wanted to be a plus size fashion model, but didn't really pursue it with vigor. So it just kind of sat on the shelf for a while and became stale. Its still something I think about quite a bit, but my more artistic passion is photography and that's the area I'm probably going to major in.

However, I feel this place is my juice and inspiration for fashion. I love to look up other peoples fashion blogs and go on Torrid to see whats come out for the week. Now I dress like I'm...well just me. Kat. I don't really have a genre to pinpoint, all I know is that I want to share my passion with you guys.

Yes and that's me getting way drunk with my family in FL. My parents live there still and that's where I was from age 15 till 21, so I still feel like its my homestead.

Jeans are from Burlington Coat Factory. Brand is Jade.

And this is me and my boyfriend Steve-O this month visiting my family again....I think where near Portsmouth, NH. As you can see I rock a big butt and long hair, and my bfs pretty awesome. Hes dorky and nerdy like me. Lol, but most of the time my life is in total catastrophe, and it amuses both me and my friends. Mostly my friends.

My favorite look right now is edgy chic for fall, although I usually tend to lean that way in general. See you all soon! Halloween is upon us and I will be making myself into a sexy sugar skull girl. Stay tuned...
